What is WPForms?
WPForms is an easy form builder that I use to collect information and/or get people to participate in activities within my site and The Montana Woman Foundation’s website For example, I set up a Contact Form where people put in their information such as email addresses, and then I build an email list for my blog. Or, I used it to get people to signup to participate in an in-person campaign that we did for a few months of 2021.

How and Where do I use WPForms?
For my Tiny Twenty-Something blog, I definitely use it to not only build my email list but to gauge my readers’ interests. I have several forms: one is for access to a $5 Dinner freebie, another is for readers to simply signup to any type of content (travel, meal planning, recipes), access to my resource library, and another (not the last) is specifically for Low Carb Recipe signups. Later I can see where these new subscribers were convinced to support my blog and my content.
Another unique way to use WPForms is to create a page that can help gauge whether someone would be interested in a specific product. Say something clever in relation to a product you might want to build and ask if they want first dibs. If you get their email address, then it’s an interesting product.
A Paid Plan is the Better Plan
I started my WPForms license with a Lite Plan because it is automatically included in the WordPress Business plan, but during their Black Friday special last year, I decided to upgrade to the Pro plan when it was 55% off. Then I able integrate it with my Mailchimp account so that when someone uses the form to sign up, it will automatically update my Subscribers list on Mailchimp. I can use this plug on up to 3 websites with this license, and it is $199/year for the Pro plan.
