Proofreading and Optimization
Blog posts featured will be lightly edited and optimized. That means that after you submit your awesome content, I will be the one formatting it for SEO. No worries or extra time on your part!
Social Media Marketing Done For You
After your blog post is accepted and optimized by yours truly, 1 social media post per platform will be created for you featuring your blog post and your social media account username(s). The post will include tagging your account(s).
You Get Featured in the Monthly Newsletter
At time of publication, your blog post will be sent out to all subscribers of Katherine MC Johnson- Content Writing that month. 1-2 writers will be showcased and I will let you now when your post is scheduled for publication.
Submission Checklist
Make sure you submit everything I need in order to feature your content on my blog and social media accounts. You can email me your work in response to this email.
- 1 word document with your blog article of any relevant subject as described below- or something very similar.
- Word count must be between 300-750 words. No need to worry about keyword density, I will lightly edit your content and make sure it’s there.
- Include a subject line to briefly describe the post’s topic or the title of your article
- 3-5 quality images to be used in the blog post. I will accept stock images if the source is provided (example: Unsplash). Some images you may want to include: an image of yourself (to be used in your bio section of the blog post, graphics, screenshots of your results, etc.
- A link to your website
- Brief bio, max of 150 words- include this in the word document with your article.
- Social Media account usernames for any of the following:

A Small Fee
- In order to take advantage of these 4 great benefits, a fellow writer will be required to pay a very small fee of $10 via Venmo, PayPal or Stripe.
- Upon acceptance of your content, an email will be sent to you confirming that you will be featured on my website. Payment is required before I provide the great perks.
Promoting Other Content
- No affiliate links
- No promoting original products such as online courses or books/ebooks as the primary subject. 1-2 sentences informing readers that there is a product on your website is acceptable, and I will link those sentences or images back to your website or other URL link.
- I will accept articles previously published to your blog/website- give notice if this applies
